Operating under the leadership of the DSRSG/HC/RC, the Durable Solutions Task Force (DSTF) is the main platform through which the international community ensures information-sharing, strategic coherence and collective action and advocacy on durable solutions in Iraq. Its members actively advise on the strategic direction of all related activities, to ensure that durable solutions for IDPs are prioritized by humanitarian, development, stabilisation, and peacebuilding actors. The DSTF also ensures close linkage and collaboration with the government at all levels, and that durable solutions programming in Iraq remains principled, coherent and well-coordinated. Currently, IOM and UNDP serve as DSTF co-chairs.
