Operating under the overall direction of the RC and co-chaired by UNDP and IOM, the Durable Solutions Task Force (DSTF) serves as the principal coordination mechanism for solutions to internal displacement in Iraq. It provides a platform for information exchange, strategic governance, joint decision-making, and collective advocacy. Its members advise on the strategic direction of humanitarian, development, stabilization, and peacebuilding activities to ensure that durable solutions for IDPs are prioritized. The DSTF ensures close collaboration with the Government of Iraq to promote national leadership, keeping programming principled, coherent, data-driven, and coordinated across the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus.
