Operating under the strategic direction of the Durable Solutions Task Force (DSTF), the Durable Solutions Technical Working Group (DSTWG) serves as the main technical operations and coordination platform advancing durable solutions across humanitarian, peacebuilding, and development actors. It is led by a Tri-Chair structure consisting of two UN agencies (IOM, UNDP) and an NGO (Bring Hope Foundation). The DSTWG guides specialized thematic sub-groups including HLP and M&A, and focuses on operational strategies, area-level coordination, technical methodologies, and evidence-based advocacy.
