Operating under the direction of the Durable Solutions Task Force (DSTF) and the overall leadership of the RC for Iraq, the Returns Working Group (RWG) serves as the main information-sharing and dissemination platform through which durable solutions are advanced among international and NGO humanitarian, development, stabilization, recovery, and peacebuilding actors. Led by IOM, the RWG brings together a broad-based membership to form critical linkages between actors, highlight operational needs, gaps, and priorities across Iraq, and support collective coordination. Furthermore, the group facilitates timely information exchange, coordinates evidence-based advocacy, and promotes data sharing and research projects in close concert with the Durable Solutions Technical Working Group (DSTWG).
